We believe we have the best kiln dried logs for sale in Sussex and Surrey. The firewood logs are locally sourced and produced from carefully selected hardwoods.

We cut the logs to size +/-(250mm), split them, air dry them, carefully stack them in cages and then complete the drying process in kilns which takes 4/5 days at a temperature of 85 Degree centigrade. We use the spent heat from our charcoal retorts, so it uses 100% renewable energy. The kiln dried firewood you receive from us is the absolute best that money can buy. 

Note: The moisture content in seasoned firewood varies depending on the seasonal weather conditions and where it is stored and for how long it has been drying. Kiln dried wood eliminates any of that uncertainty! Although it is almost certainly cheaper to buy firewood that has not been properly dried, the cost in lower heat output and potential damage to your chimney flue can make non kiln dried firewood far more costly in the long run.

If you have been burning seasoned or semi-seasoned firewood from us, then our kiln dried logs are a real eye-opener for you! When you use our kiln dried logs, they will burn cleaner with high heat and max output and will leave less flue and chimney residue, unlike unseasoned or semi-seasoned firewood.

While it is certainly cheaper to buy unseasoned firewood that has not been properly dried or seasoned, the cost in lower heat output can be damaging to your chimney flue and thus can make poor quality firewood far more costly in the long run.
